Life in the fast lane

Papa Dragon is blessed with the 2 baby dragons. With the babies growing up in a wink of an eye, baby dragons will soon be flying off to explore the 4 corners of the world. Just last nite, Papa Dragon gave approval to the eldest baby this opportunity to sail the world. In Sept, she will be off with Grandma Dragon to the Middle Kingdom, amongst others, visit the birthplace of the Foochow clan. Upon retuning, she will be off with her school mates to explore the caves of Gua Tempurung, dip in the hotspring of Klah Hotspring, climb the limestone caves of Batu Caves, and riding the lastest attraction of KL, the Eyes of Malaysia and come December, she will be off again with her school to visit Singapore.
Baby #1 and baby #2 will also be off to the Scripture Union, Tweens Camp in December to learn some outside living and to strengthen their faith in God.

*sigh* With the babies growing up fast, it is putting much pressure on time management and not to mention, money management.

Very soon the nest will be a very quiet place and Papa and Mama Dragon will have to resign to the fact of "entertaining" each other.

Return to Middle Kingdom

Last May, the Dragon made his second trip to China, after a lapse of 15 years since his first trip. This time, the main intention is to see the Great Wall of China, which is his dream of this lifetime.

On the way to the Wall, stopover at the Ming Tombs.

The Entrance to the Tombs

The tombs was is 5 km in radius

The Gate upon returning from the tombs

This won't be his last trip. The Dragon is scheduled to visit the Middle Kingdom in mid Sept and end of Oct before the year is out. This time, it is for business and some fashion and flair......

Have you ever wondered......??

How does a garment and apparel factory looks like?? The ones that manufacture the clothings that cover you up. The Nikes, Addidas, GAPs, MNGs, PUMAs, etc, etc.......As the fashion world rotates, the manufacturing of apparel and garments are still very labor intensive. Some factories have as many as 5000 workers.

One thing for sure.....the sounds of the sewing machine is deafening. Oh no, wait......you should go into the ironing room. Better take off your clothes. Its like a sauna in there. Even the aircond doesn't really help. 2000 industrial steam irons hissssssing at the same time......its one place not for me.

Fiery Dragon Fashion

Lets fly to a Fiery Fashion Show in Hong Kong. Flair is all in the mind which oozes outwardly into the fashion which we put on.....some like it hot, hot, hot...... others like it otherwise.
Whatever the flair you wished to don on, its a matter of choice.
